It’s been a bit slow around the office lately and I am finding it hard to fill out the day. I read Bill Simmons’ The Book of Basketball and even though it was 700-pages it only took a few shifts to finish.

I spent the better part of yesterday at the Arizona Motor Vehicle Department’s website trying to come up with a proper license plate for my Impala. Also, the AZ MVD is another instance where the state wants to be unique, like not observing Daylight Savings Time. Everywhere else it is the DMV.

I came up with a few ideas that are available but now I need to pick a single choice from the following options:

DPCTCB
OASISDC
SHAFT99
DLEMITE
UNEVADA
SPRBAD1
DASEFX

Big Sexy and Chief Macho are both pulling for DLEMITE and I can’t blame them but I wonder if I am funky enough for a plate that honors Dolemite or even my other option, Super Bad. Personally, I am leaning towards DPCTCB but UNEVADA is pretty cool too. Of course I fear that I would be turning into a psycho alum that has a license plate holder that describes me as “Alumni, University of Nevada” and then a license plate that states, UNEVADA.
