Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was one of the worse movies of this decade. I didn’t have high expectations for the sequel to the 2007 blockbuster Transformers but this movie was bad by action movie standards. To put it in perspective, I consider the James Bond flick A View To A Kill to be a terrible movie by Bond standards and all measurements for that manner, and Revenge of the Fallen was far worse.

I like action movies. Even the ones with plots holes, bad dialogue and worse acting, the Fast and Furious series for example, but I wanted to turn this movie off after 15-minutes. I rented this flick for a dollar at a Redbox in front my local Circle K’s for a buck and I want my money and 150-minutes back.

The dialogue was cliche driven. Megan Fox has the acting chops of a young Chasey Lain. I was never a big Shia LaBeouf guy and his scatterbrain performance didn’t help his cause in my mind. The plot was convoluted. Many of the fight scenes were confusing and I could barely discern who was a Decepticon or an Autobot.

With the exception of the special effects and audio this movie will receive a D- from me and yes I am very bitter that I wasted my Sunday watching it.
